Recent Knitting Stuff
I finished my OnLine Punta scarf:

This FunFur scarf was quick and easy to knit:

Here it is close up:

And after much hemming and hawing about which Manos Del Uruguay colorway I was going to use for that My So Called Scarf pattern, I ended up selecting none of the ones I was deciding between. I went with 114 (Bramble). I think it is great.

Here is a closer look at the “Little Herringbone” pattern:

I did note that the pattern didn't work for me with 30 stitches. You've got to cast on 31 (not 30) stitches. I corrected the pattern as follows:
Materials:
•2 Skeins of Manos del Uruguay
•US 11 Needles
•Darning Needle
Glossary:
•psso-pass slipped stitch over
•P2tog-purl 2 together
Instructions:
•CO 31 stitches
•Row 1: K1, *sl 1, K1, psso but before dropping the slipped stitch from the left needle, knit into the back of it* repeat to end
•Row 2: P1 *P2tog, do not slip stitches off the needle, purl the first stitch again, slip both stitches off needle* repeat to end.
•Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you run out of yarn.
•BO.
•Weave in all ends.
But now that I look at it, I see that my pattern (though pretty) looks a little different from the pattern in the scarf picture:

I might just have to frog what I've done so far and try again with 30 stitches. Something is not quite right here. Back to the Knitters Review Forum I go…
