This Could Only Happen To Me!

Hi Everyone,

This could only happen to me.

My plan was to do my own urine test before my beta on Monday. Yet my stress about testing tomorrow increased astronomically this afternoon. My nausea wasn’t as bad as it was and I thought my breasts were less tender. I was still a little crampy, but that could just be my period. Of course I was losing my mind with all this interpretation.

So tonight I bought a 2 test EPT kit and ran into the bathroom after coming home from the store without even telling Mason, hoping to put the entire issue to rest tonight instead of continuing to agonize over this until tomorrow.

I pee on the stick

I wait….

I pray….

I wait…

I look down and it says….

See leaflet

WTF?!! I check the leaflet. Guess what? The test broke. Somehow I managed to break the damn test. Of course there is no more urine to be had to test again, so I guess I just have to wait until tomorrow.

What madness this….

Since I’ve peed on about 1000 sticks (I’m not exaggerating), I know this happens all the time. Ways I’ve screwed up tests:

Dropping a EPT on the floor (makes the lines get all squiggly).

Putting the digital one in the wrong way.

Peeing on the stick without taking off the wrapper (I was very tired).

    Missing the stick altogether.

And of course, dropping it in the toilet.

Really, I can usually walk a straight line and am not that uncoordinated. Okay, maybe a little bit.

Pure torture. I would have had to pee again, by the way.

    Good luck.

OHHHHHHHHHHH You cannot do this to us!!! Gee whiz lady I am on the edge of my seat here!

But hey no pressure :) FIngers crossed and I love the whole nausea/morning/toothbrush/food aversion signs. Oh those are good. Real good. Patiently awaiting the news (I should not lie). Good luck
