Lost My Voice
I just lost my voice screaming during the Super Bowl game. It wasn’t the game that caused my hoarseness. It was, the man, the legend, my ultimate wet dream since I knew what a wet dream was: Prince.
I lurve me some Prince Rogers Nelson. And my love began long before Purple Rain.
Prince is the only man I stayed out all night in the rain for as I waited for tickets for his Purple Rain tour. His Purpleness was in rare form tonight. There were many occasions that it looked as if I were having a seizure as I writhed on the floor in ecstasy as he sang.
At one point tonight I said to AdoringHusband, “You know, if I ever get locked in a room with Prince, I’m going to have to do him, right?
To which AdoringHusband replied, “I’d give you a pass on that one. I’d probably ask you for details. I’m sure I’d learn something.”
He totally gets my Prince thing. Totally.
In other complete unrelated news, I think I’m going to pass on my beautiful but horrifically priced DucDuc Austin crib.
After looking at the Austin, the Nurseryworks Aeriel Crib, and the Oeuf Crib, I think I’m going with the still-expensive-but-slightly-more-reasonable Morigeau Lepine Avalon Crib in Toffee and White.
Yay! I made a decision and got to scream at Prince this weekend! Bonus!

ML is one of my very favorite nursery furniture companies! In fact, my preferred crib is in the 5000 line, I belive.
Congrats on the purchase! Err, on the decision. What about baby bedding????? Can we start looking at that now? Or do you have something picked out?
Prince was the best part of the Super Bowl, imho. He rocked.

Liana, I have to steal your Prince horse or can I at least share in it? I have been riding the broncho for a long a$$ time. You know back when he was on the album cover on the horse with his hair blowing in the wind? Back when we called him Ms Prince because we had no idea what his sexual orientation was? Long before Purple Rain made him a crossover. I have begged, borrowedd and “thought” of stealing to see him. And if you contact me privately, I’ll tell you some other Prince related history. So I feel you girl. I didnt care a damn about this year superbowl until I heard Saturday night on SNL that Prince was doing the halftime show this year.
