The Saddest Passport Photo Ever

the-saddest-passport-photo-ever

Today I took Ms. Zizi to Sears to have her passport picture taken. Though she was singing and playing in the stroller on the way to the portrait studio, somehow after she arrived and had to sit like a big girl on the stool and face the camera, she became quite unhappy.

Look at this little face:

Isn’t that the saddest face ever?! :-(

My poor yummy girl. I think I’m going back tomorrow to have them try again.

Acyually, that is the perfect passport photo. Everybody in the family recently had new passports issued last summer. We had strict instructions not to smile. New Regs.

No, I know about the no smiling rule. I encountered it when I recently had to get visa photos taken for my China trip. It has to do with biometric scanning.

But goodness, does she have to look like the saddest baby ever?! :( She’s breaking my heart.

I’ll see if we can get a less unhappy nonsmiling picture today.

  5. Dee says:

Aw! That’s the most adorably sad photo ever.

  6. Sylvie says:

Aww she’s still a cutie even though she looks like she is not happy about traveling.
