I recently taught myself how to do it, and it looks mostly okay, except for some spots where I picked up from the wrong side. Thank you for your pictures, they are a great help.

I gave Entrelac a try and had put it down a few weeks ago. It sat in the same spot and was screaming at me everytime I came in the living room. My problem was that I could not figure how to start it up again. They say time heals (encouraging stories online help too) after reading your blog and osmosizing some of your enthusiam I found my little cheat and finished the piece. It is a swatch panel of pink & white, and I used two different weight yarns. It’s cute, it’s done there is a boo boo but I love it. No frogging on this piece, rather I will incorporate it into some kind of toy for my youngest grand daughter. Thanks for your posts and pointers.

I agree about the shoes!! I love the Naturino brand and they are like 80/90$ (except on Ebay where they run 20/30$ new in box) – Anyway – I LOOVE your knitting projects, you are very talented!!

I tried knitting once…ahem. The result wasn’t pretty so I decided it was not the hobby for me, but I love seeing what other people can create…

As for those shoes! Do they come in a size 11? I can appreciate your shock at the price…it they become here summer walkers you can amortize the cost to be more or less than a dollar a day, yes?

What a beautiful little girl your niece is!

I have no idea why shoes for infants/toddlers are so expensive. It certainly isn’t that there is a lot of material there! But they are really cute.

I wish I could knit. I do have to say that when I saw the title “entrelac” I immediately thought that it must be a new medication Your knitting is wonderful!

The cupcakes look yummy indeed.

I’d rather eat the knitting cupcakes. I actually used to knit a little bit when I was a kid, but ran out of patience when I actually had to finish things off. I couldn’t even make an even square.
