I’d have to be that parent if we hadn’t found a good school. Course if I was faced with anti-vaxing Chiropractors from the country of Africa I’d probably borrow your letter opener or move my family to a cave somewhere.

Good thing they “rescheduled” the woo lecture or you might have had to call in the Skeptologists or the Rogues from the Skeptic’s Guide to the Universe . Michael Shermer, Rebecca Watson and Steven Novella to the rescue!

Marc and I loved and related to this post quite well. I am THAT parent but wear my label with pride. Nobody is going to mess with my kid. If that makes me one of THOSE parents… so be it.

Is it wrong I was howling over the thought of a chiro who is anti vac speaking to reps of a pharm company about their children?

Sometimes you just have to be That Parent. You do. I had that when School Girl was in kindergarten and was put into a “special” phys-ed class without any warning or discussion beforehand. The PE teacher still twitches whenever he sees me at school.

I hope it gets better and the Annoying Parent cape can go in the closet.
